All you need is a flexible tape measure, a narrow string or elastic to tie around your waist and assistance from a friend. The whole process will not take more than 15 minutes and will have to be done once only.

Remove your shoes and measure your height.

NECK CIRCUMFERENCE
Measure the neck circumference with one or two fingers inside the tape for a comfortable fit.

CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE
Place tape measure around the back and underarms, above the bust. Measure the chest circumference.
4.
BUST CIRCUMFERENCE
Place tape measure around the back and underarms, around the fullest part of bust.Measure the bust circumference.
5.
WAIST CIRCUMFERENCE
Tie a narrow rope at natural waist, at the height of your elbow. Measure waist circumference.
6.
HIPS CIRCUMFERENCE
Locate the fullest part of your hip. Measure hip circumference.
7.
CHEST WIDTH
Locate the arm crease. The arm crease is the "line" where the arm joins the body. To visualise this "line", imagine a doll's arm attached to the body. Measure the chest width, from arm crease to arm crease.
8.
BACK NECK TO BUST POINT
Locate back neck prominent bone. Place the tape at prominent back neck bone and move tape towards the bust point.
9.
BACK WIDTH
Locate the arm crease at the back. The arm crease is the "line" where the arm joins the body. To visualise this "line", imagine a doll's arm attached to the body. Measure your back width, from arm crease to arm crease.
10.
BACK LENGTH
Locate back neck prominent bone. Keep the narrow cord around your natural waist. Measure your back length, from back neck prominent bone to waist.
11.
WAIST TO HIP
Keep the narrow cord around your natural waist. Locate the fullest part of your hip. Measure from waist to hip.
12.
SHOULDER LENGTH
Locate your shoulder joint. Raise your arm and feel your shoulder with your opposite hand, you will feel your shoulder joint. Measure your shoulder length, from neck base to shoulder joint.
13.
ACROSS SHOULDER
Locate your shoulder joint. Raise your arm and feel your shoulder with your opposite hand, you will feel your shoulder joint. Measure across the top of your shoulders in a curve, from shoulder joint to shoulder joint.
14.
SLEEVE LENGTH
Locate your shoulder joint. Raise your arm and feel your shoulder with your opposite hand, you will feel your shoulder joint. Measure from shoulder joint to base of thumb, OR to desired length.
15.
TOP ARM
Locate widest part of top arm. Preferably select the hand you write with. Measure top arm circumference.
16.
WRIST
Locate the wrist bone. It is the prominent bone on the side of your wrist. Measure you wrist at wrist bone.
